International Business Major at KSU
As more and more firms throughout the world become multinational, they increasingly need executives who can deal effectively with organizational problems in an international framework. The international business program offered at Coles College of Business is designed to meet this need. To earn a B.B.A. in international business students need to complete total 123 credits.

Requirements
The International Business major program is intended to produce graduates who have marketable knowledge and skills that are highly desired by businesses with diverse workplaces or clientele engaging in international commerce.
Graduates of the program will have the foundations of general education, business core and international business coursework that are augmented by two years of foreign language and an education abroad course/internship. Specifically, IB majors will:
- Take five courses in the International Business major concentration curriculum of international courses Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing.
- Gain proficiency in a second major area of business (12 credit hours from another primary discipline).
- Demonstrate proficiency in a second language (9 credit hours of a foreign language). Click here for details on satisfying this requirement.
- Complete at least one (preferably two) six-credit education abroad program or one semester-long exchange program.
